Change We Can Beleive In – Lobbyist Version

It has been reported that anywhere from 12 to 17 members of Obama’s administration are former lobbyists. Having no lobbyists on his campaign staff and in his administration was a central theme to his campaign. As a matter of fact the Obama campaign relentlessly beat up McCain for having lobbyists on his campaign staff. What was the point of the executive order he signed if he is going to continually find exceptions to his own rules? Is this change we can believe in?

The Impending Scam of the American People

It looks like the so called stimulus bill will be voted on today. The Democratic leadership promised Congress they would have a minimum of 48 hours to read it and much to our surprise they are backing out of that. Congress is going to vote on this massive spending bill with less than 24 hours to read the 1000+ page bill. Every single American should be appalled at this and should call their Senators and Representative. Something this important shouldn’t be shoved down our throats. My hope is that all of the Republicans and possibly some Blue Dog Democrats will vote against it. The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office stated that doing nothing would be better than passing this bill.
